Presented at The Future of Care: Innovation Luncheon
April 27, 2016 at The Four Seasons Austin
hosted by the President’s Council for Dell Seton Medical Center at UT
Challenge:
Communication across healthcare teams and with patients and families is a central challenge to delivering high quality healthcare that puts patients at the center of their own care. How can we connect doctors, pharmacists, nurses, social workers, caregivers, and patients? How can we ensure access to up-to-date patient data? How do we change existing workflows to ensure that potential solutions are adopted in the healthcare system?
Recognition will be for the best innovations that address the communication challenge to improve the patient’s experience with healthcare. Nominations can be for solutions in hardware, software, services, digital health, health policy and law, care delivery, payment…or other areas we’ve not yet imagined! Seton is calling on entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators, investors, and system disrupters to join in. Share your work, or nominate someone you know.
Prizes: Prizes include a one-year mentorship and an invitation to collaborate with clinical teams and leaders at the forefront of redesigning healthcare in the accelerated practice lab that is Dell Seton Medical Center at UT.
