Victoria M. Bradley DNP, RN, FHIMSS is currently Principal of Bradley HIT Consulting specializing in healthcare information technology strategy, governance, system selection, implementation, clinical decision support, and change management. She received her BSN and MS from Wright State University and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Kentucky. She has 25 years’ experience in clinical informatics serving in a variety of roles such as Senior Director of Standards and Content, Applied Clinical Informatics, Tenet Healthcare (2010-2016); Chief Nursing Informatics Officer, Eclipsys Corporation (2007-2010); Patient Information Director, University of Kentucky Healthcare (2000-2007). She is past President of American Nursing Informatics Association (2010), Emergency Nursing Association (1992) and Vice Chair of HIMSS Advisory Board of Directors (2007). She is a past recipient of the HIMSS informatics Nursing Leadership Award (2005).

 

Jennifer Dorsey is originally from NE Oregon where she received her associate degree in nursing. She has gone on to receive her Master’s Degree in Nursing specializing in Nursing Informatics from Walden University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Executive Nurse Leadership from the University of Kentucky. Last year she obtained her board certification in informatics from the American Nurse Credentialing Center. She spent the first 6 years of her nursing career as an emergency room nurse in NE Oregon and SE Washington. While working as an ED nurse she also taught ACLS classes and worked part time for the local community college as a clinical instructor. She got into Informatics in 2010 as she assisted the ED in transferring from paper to electronic documentation. Jennifer has experience as an analyst and informaticist in multiple EMR systems including Meditech, Cerner, Epic and Allscripts and is currently an Informaticist at the University of Kentucky where she works primarily with ED and Trauma Services.

 

Paulette Frost is Division Director of Clinical Informatics at KYOne Health. She received her B.S.N. from the University of KY and her certificate in HealthCare Informatics from Excelsior College. She is a clinical informatics professional and registered nurse with 24+ years’ experience successfully implementing and managing Cerner, Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM), and other healthcare clinical information systems. She began her career as an RN in MICU at UK HealthCare. Paulette’s experience as an RN was essential in her transition into the field of clinical informatics as a Clinical Systems Coordinator ultimately leading to her current position. She has a passion for clinical informatics with a proven record of initiative and success in motivating and mentoring staff to peak performance and career advancement.

 

Brett Oliver, MD, is chief medical information officer for Baptist Health. In this role, he works closely with the chief information officer to develop and implement information technology across the health system. In addition to providing clinical expertise to the IT team, he works closely with other physicians to ensure the system’s IT solutions are designed to meet the needs of staff and patients.

 

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Oliver joined Baptist in 2012 and has accepted ever-increasing leadership roles, while continuing to see patients in his Georgetown practice. He most recently served as medical director for Integrated EHR Development, serving as a liaison between practicing physicians and the IT team. As medical director, he provided valuable clinical input throughout the process of building Baptist’s new electronic health record platform.

 

Dr. Oliver earned a bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University and a medical degree from the University of Kentucky. He completed his residency at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., and practiced with a Novant Health family practice in Winston-Salem for three years, serving as team physician for Wake Forest’s women’s volleyball team and a local high school football team. In 2000, Dr. Oliver returned to Kentucky to practice in Georgetown, starting a solo private practice in 2003. The practice, Scott County Family Physicians, which now includes three additional physicians and two mid-level providers, joined Baptist Health Medical Group in 2012.

 

Dr. Oliver is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, the American Academy of Physician Leadership, the Kentucky Medical Association, the American Medical Informatics Association, and the American College of Nutrition. He and his wife Jenny, a pediatrician in Georgetown, have been married for 22 years. They have two children, Ben, 18, and Erin, 15.

 

 

 

Gary Ozanich is Director of Northern Kentucky University’s Programs in Health Informatics, and Associate Director of Research for NKU’s Health Innovation Center. He is currently the National Co-Chair of the HIMSS Interoperability and Health Information Exchange Community and was past National Chair of the HIMSS HIE Committee. He has conducted extensive funded research and consulting projects on health information exchange structure, interoperability, services, and sustainability, as well as projects examining care coordination and transitions in care. He has a private sector background which includes more than 12 years as a Vice President on Wall Street where he was an analyst of the technology and telecommunications industries. Dr. Ozanich also worked as a consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton. Relative to other academic positions, he was Associate Director of the Institute of Tele-Information at Columbia University, and has been on the faculties of Michigan State University and University at Buffalo. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

 

Patrick Quirk, PMP, CSM founded FOQUS Partners, LLC with a vision for helping organizations turn strategic vision into reality. Patrick believes that such strategic initiatives require not only significant focus from the organization, but a combination of program and project management expertise coupled with domain-specific subject matter expertise. Patrick sees the combination of such project management and subject matter expertise as the key to turning strategic vision into realistic, tactical projects, which can be managed to successful outcomes.

 

With 20 years of consulting and management experience, Patrick has extensive experience in a variety of project domains and skillsets.

 

 

 

Bud Ratliff founded The Solarity Group in 2003 to help individuals and organizations deliver valuable results on time and within budget. An author of several books for Microsoft Press, Bud is also passionate about making a difference in his community: he served as President of the Bluegrass PMI Chapter, helped charter the local International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) chapter, was elected the Distinguished Leader in his Leadership Lexington class, co-founded the Lexington Microsoft Users' Group, and speaks about project and change management, technology, and business analysis.

For his work in helping the Project Management community, Microsoft selected Bud as one of their Most Valuable Professionals (MVP) in Microsoft Project three years in a row, one of less than 30 people internationally at the time who held that distinction.

Bud holds the Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute, the Prosci Change Management and Advanced Change Management certification, several certifications from Microsoft (MCTS, MCSE, MCT), the Project+ certification from CompTIA, and the Certified Leader and Certified Toastmaster designations from Toastmasters International.
