Increasing demands on providers are leading to high rates of provider dissatisfaction and burnout. One of the most cited causes of this concerning trend is the electronic health record (EHR). Through the use of informatics guided training methodologies, a far reaching, structured provider engagement program and a provider liaison program, discover how one health system has achieved high levels of provider satisfaction with the EHR as demonstrated by internal metrics and the ARCH Collaborative.

Jonathan Siff, MD, MBA, FACEP, FAMIA

Dr. Siff is the Associate Chief Medical Informatics Officer for The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, Ohio. He also serves as the Associate Operations Director and Physician Billing and Compliance Director for the Department of Emergency Medicine. Jonathan serves on the Informatics and Reimbursement committees for the American College of Emergency Physicians and was named a Hero of Emergency Medicine by the College in 2008 in recognition of his outstanding achievement and dedication to advancing the specialty of emergency medicine.
