Lunch & Learn - Coordinating Care Across Our Community – In good times and in bad

October 27, 11:30am, CDT - 1:00pm, CDT

Mays Clinic, Room ACB1.2345
1220 Holcombe Blvd.
Houston, TX 77030

Nick Bonvino, CEO of Greater Houston Healthconnect, spent a couple of minutes after his presentation to talk with Toby Boyett about the future of HIE.

The importance of coordinating the delivery of healthcare services between all caregivers is magnified during a crisis. Identify the current structure of HIE services for Southeast Texas. How do you uniquely identify millions of people when their demographic information varies across care settings. What is the optimal approach for successful adoption and utilization by caregivers. Identify the range of HIE capabilities available to our community. How GHH deployed HIE services in response to Hurricane Harvey. What are the lessons learned. How will HIE services be incorporated into local, state and federal disaster preparedness programs.
