Meet with several of our State officials as the NYS Chapter provides the results of our initial findings and recommendations for the leveraging of our State HIE's and RHIO's in supporting  a State-Wide Emergency Preparedness Infrastructure.  Part of the discussion will involve similar efforts at the Federal level in addition to other State's initiatives.

If you have an interest in finding our what can be done to further the efforts of Emergency Preparedness and having our legislators hear your concerns, you should make plans to attend.

Highlights
1.  Paul Contino discussing using many different HIEs with the challenges and benefits.  Paul is the VP of BI and Interoperability at The Guthrie Clinic.  His experience is board in data standards and HIEs
2.  Nikhil and The State Department of Health discussing their experience and the program planning at the State level.  Nikhil Natarajan is the Deputy Director for the Office of Emergency Services at the NYS division of Homeland Security and Emergency services.  He will co present with a representative from the State Department of Health
3.  Valerie Rogers discussing what is being done at the national level. Valerie is the Direct of State Government Affairs at National HIMSS.
