Ryan Freeman-Jones is an experienced HIPAA Security and Privacy Officer and an expert in healthcare data security and ethical hacking. He is Meditology Services IT Risk Management Senior Manager and directs the firm’s Ethical Hacking service line.   Ryan leads the firms’ West Coast office based in the San Diego, California.  As a former HIPAA Security and Privacy Officer, Ryan has extensive knowledge in compliance requirements such as HIPAA, HITECH, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO and other regulatory and risk standards.  He has been HITRUST certified since 2016.  Ryan teaches an IT Risk Management Course at Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, that is focused on IT Governance and Compliance. Ryan was also one of the chief architects of the M.S. in Cyber Security program at Valparaiso University.

Ankit is a skilled manager with 9 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He has served numerous healthcare clients the development of policies, processes and procedures, training and awareness, and remediation planning and project management. His experience includes developing and implementing HIPAA, HITRUST, and NIST compliance programs, documenting compliance assessments, and performing MIPS (Meaningful Use) gap analyses. Ankit is very familiar with the integration of IT systems with clinical processes, and he has worked extensively to align outcomes and performance metrics within and across system sites. Ankit holds an advanced degree in Health Administration with a concentration in Health Informatics.
