About This Webinar

In a continued effort to present value and clarity through compelling topics, welcome to an important discussion relevant to Cloud initiatives and Healthcare.

AZ HIMSS is excited to announce the final topic of a 3-part webinar series: HL7 FHIR and the Road to Interoperability. NETSCOUT is co-hosting and has provided the webinar services here on Brighttalk.

Your webinar host: Perry Horner, CIO – Adelante Healthcare, this webinar is applicable for 1 CE hours.

First, join Wayne Kubick and Russ Leftwich as they describe the current state of and future plans for HL7 FHIR. They’ll review how and where FHIR is being used, how the FHIR community engages clinicians, payers, researchers and other stakeholders with the HL7 FHIR Community of implementers, and why it’s important for all members of the healthcare industry to be aware and engage. Secondly, join Robert Wright to learn how a growing ecosystem of applications and systems using HL7 and HL7 FHIR require improved levels of visibility. Robert will explore the dynamics of service assurance to improve visibility by ensuring a consistent, safe patient experience. Service assurance, and the resultant visibility and support, helps IT prevent and troubleshoot critical issues impacting healthcare services.

Wayne R. Kubick is Chief Technology Officer for Health Level Seven International, an ANSI-accredited Standards Development Organization (SDO) dedicated to the vision of a world in which everyone can securely access and use the right health data when and where they need it.
