Announcing the 2020-2021 New England HIMSS Elected Officials

 

On behalf of Liza Cameron, President-Elect, and the chapter board of directors, I am pleased to announce the elected officers for the 2021-2022 chapter year.

President Elect - Katie Flynn

Currently serves as chair of the Programs Committee

Katie has 11 years of overall experience and 5 years of experience in the IT Healthcare staffing industry. She started off her career in London right out of college working for UBS Investment Bank in the COO Office supporting their Global Finance Department. After one year, she transferred to their New York City office and became a Business Manager supporting their Global Risk Control Department. Aftera few years, Katie made a move over to Barclays Investment Bank supporting their Global Compliance team with operational tasks within their Chief Operating Office. Katie is currently a Senior Account Executive at Queen Consulting.

Secretary - Renee Broadbent

Currently serves as Secretary

Renee is a senior-level executive with an extensive background in strategic planning and operational management. Twenty-five years of diverse experience in information technology, data security, population health and value-based care. For the past two years, She has proudly served as the secretary of the NEHIMSS Chapter.  Renee currently is Vice President of Information Technology at SOHO Health.

Member-at-Large -CherylAnne Harvey

CAbbie is an information technology professional with healthcare industry experience in all aspects of the software product lifecycle to improve the quality and efficiency of patient care and increase ROI. She has been actively involved in HIMSS for the past 10 years and served on the NEHIMSS board previously(as co-chair of the Mar/Com committee 2017-2018). CAbbie is currently a project manager at Orion Health.

Member-at-Large - Paulo Farqui

Paulo is a dedicated and versatile healthcare management professional with 10-years’ experience in strategic planning, change leadership, project management, and information technology. He is a collaborative leader known for building long-term relationships with business and clinical operations. He is currently the Associate Principal of Digital Architecture and Technology at The Chartis Group in Boston.
