During our Fall Networking Event at Brookeville Beer Farm last evening, the Professional Development Committee recognized our two 2022 Scholarship Program recipients, Kathleen Kennedy and Erin McLaughlin Boyle. 

In addition to the $2,500 scholarship, the HIMSS Maryland Chapter awarded the recipients with a one-year membership to the organization, one-year assignment as a student member of the MD HIMSS Program Committee, and free attendance at the MDHIMSS educational programs for one year.

Both students are active members in MD HIMSS and HIMSS Global, are enrolled in programs related to the healthcare information management systems field at a Maryland-accredited school, and achieved at least a 3.0 GPA. Congratulations, Kathleen and Erin, on your academic excellence! We’re thrilled to be a part of your continued educational journey and leadership in the healthcare information and management systems industry.
