Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) Published

The ONC and The Sequoia Project, the Recognized Coordinating Entity (RCE), announced the publication of the Trusted Exchange Framework and the Common Agreement (TEFCA), marking the beginning of the implementation phase.

United States Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) Version 3 (v3) Draft Released

The ONC released the draft USCDI v3, which includes new data elements and data classes to advance health equity and public health data interoperability. Draft USCDI v3 is open for public feedback through April 30, 2022.

In Case You Missed It: The Experience of a First Timer at the HIMSS Global Conference.

Rutendo Goto is a HIMSS Michigan Chapter intern at The Interoperability Institute. She holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Grand Valley State University, a BCom in Financial Management from the University of South Africa, and is currently pursuing an MS in Health Informatics and Bioinformatics.
