With lot of events under planning, the WISCONSIN HIMSS Board of Directors are excited to share few quick updates with our chapter members.
Last Date – Sep 2022 to apply for scholarship for 2022-2023!
The Wisconsin HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) Chapter ((http://wi.himsschapter.org/) is proud to announce the opportunity for you to earn a $2,000 scholarship. This annual scholarship is designed to support dedicatedstudents as they pursue a degree in a Healthcare Information and Management Systems-related program.
Please submit completed application narrative and additional documents in Microsoft Word or Acrobat PDF format, and send any questions to the Director of Students of Wisconsin HIMSS Chapter at: yinl@uww.edu . The deadline for submitting an application is September 15, 2022. The award will be announced on October 15, 2022.

CPHIMS Boot camp
The Wisconsin Chapter of HIMSS is dedicated to helping our members grow, and we are proud to offer a CPHIMS Boot Camp review course to help our members puruse their goals of becoming certified!
The virtual course is scheduled over four Mondays in October at 3pm-5pm CST, with each session covering different chapters of the exam. It is highly recommended that you purchase a copy of the latest version of the appropriate manual (CPHIMS: 3rd Edition, 2016) prior to attending the bootcamp.
This virtual boot camp will help prepare you for your exam, and provide an opportunity to network with like-minded healthcare IT professionals. **NOTE: This class is NOT intended to teach you the exam, but to introduce you to the material and concepts covered by the exam, and test taking strategies to get you ready.**
The Bootcamp is scheduled on the following dates.
October 3, 2022 3pm- 5pm CST Introduction, Review Module 1-2
October 10, 2022 3pm- 5pm CST Review Module 3-4
October 17, 2022 3pm- 5pm CST Review Module 5-7
October 24, 2022 3pm- 5pm CST Review Module 8-9 and Wrap Up
Don’t wait! Class size is limited to the first 30 registrations! A minimum of 10 registrants per Boot Camp is required.

Spring Leadership Conference
Its that time of the year and we are geared up to put our best foot forward in planning for our most exciting event for the chapter – Spring Leadership Conference.
