Winner of HIMSS Davies Award of Excellence: Multimodal Pain Management (Intermountain- Ryan Caron, PharmD and Farukh Usmani, MD)

Digital Mammogram Screening (Intermountain- Tejal Williams, MD)- Allowing consumers to digitally self-schedule for screening mammograms.

 

Mental Health Leader of the Year

Recognizing a leader in mental health in Utah. In cooperation with Sharp Index Awards

Nominees:

Rep Chis Stewart

Co-sponsor of the 988-suicide prevention hotline bill. Co-Chair of the Mental Health Caucus.

Tamara Moores Todd, MD, Emergency Medicine Physician

Co-Director of the Simulation Lab and Medical Director for Care Transformation at Intermountain.

Peter Weir, MD, MPH Executive Director of Population Health University of Utah Health. Studies the integration of behavioral and physical health and how that impacts healthcare including a Utah task force to integrate behavioral health services into Medicaid programs.

Matt Thiese, MD, PhD Dr. Matt Thiese is a researcher at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health. He specializes in studying the intersection between an individual’s job and their health. He current research includes mental health, among other health outcomes.
