Extraordinary times call for extraordinary leadership. Healthcare and Healthcare IT arguably have never been in such crossroads before. Healthcare CIOs are facing increasing challenges and opportunities, from cost pressure, consumerism, connected health, to cybersecurity, analytics, and artificial intelligence. The 10th anniversary CIO Forum is designed to provide a refreshing platform to share thoughts, insights, best practice with national thought-leaders, renowned CIOs and experts. Specially-selected leadership and expert panels (CEO/CFO/CIO panel, CMIO/CNIO/CIO panel, CTO/CISO/CIO panel, and Artificial Intelligence/Blockchain Panel) will discuss partnership among C-Suites executives, collaborations between CIO and clinical leadership (CMO, CNO, CMIO, CNIO). Cybersecurity and protection of patient information will be focused conversations during the CTO, CISO, and CIO panel discussions. The innovation in healthcare in the area of artificial intelligence and blockchain will be featured to shed lights on the future of personal care.
The 10th Anniversary CIO forum will kick off with an opening keynote by Cris Ross, CIO at Mayo Clinic and Chair-elect of HIMSS North America Board of Directors. Dr. Amy Sitapati, CMIO of UCSD Health will address population health from clinical, technology and patient perspectives. Completing the forum is the powerful CIO panel, where CIOs from hospitals, payers and healthcare systems will share what keep them up at night, their vision for the next generation of HIT leaders and healthcare of the future.
